Nagash: Not with a bang, but a whimper.

Something that slipped through the cracks whilst everyone was going a bit Vostroyan mad a little while back - The Immortal Necromancer Lord Nagash has finally met his end! Yes, that's right. During the great Collectors Range purge, Nagash himself was one of the casualties. And, because of the amount of hate directed toward his model, its extremely unlikely he'll return (unless Warhammer Forge get their act together).

Yes, yes, i know. The model is, objectively, quite bad and it's removal will bring joy to a great many people (and ruin even more "worst model" lists. [We've still got Vulkan, so all is not lost]) But this still feels like the end of an era.

So here it is, farewell sweet prince and may you find hapSKULLS SKULLS SKULLS SKULLS SKULLS SKULLS.

  1. And it is terrible. One of the most pivotal and generally grooviest characters in warhammer portrayed as a giant undead clown. It's impressive just how unceasingly awful this model is.

And for all that, I have one, untouched by hand or paint sitting in it's sad and unloved little box.

The liche is dead, long live the liche.

    1. You and me both. I keep picking it up, hoping that i can improve it in some way, before quietly putting it back in the box and doing something else.

  2. Never ceases to make an impression on me.. not a good one, but still.
It's just so unbearably tacky. There were a lot of bad minis in this awkward transformation period of GW, but this is probably the worst of them.

    1. There's something about him, that i can't quite put my finger on. I'm never sure weather or not i like the model.
